Jonathan Larkin is a visual artist, musician, horticulturist, and educator who lives and works in Massachusetts. Starting with an early interest in jazz music, his work is fundamentally rooted in structured improvisation. He feels that art and music are like a garden, where moments of intervention mix with an ever freely evolving space to create cultivated moments of beauty. Jonathan’s diverse interests have led to strong relationships with a variety of organizations and opportunities to study with master musicians, artists, and gardeners from around the world. He has performed at and created works for a number of different spaces, including The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Boston University, Nile Valley University, and The Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center.
